We are thrilled to share that we officially opened our second Creative and Innovation Centre (CIC) in Thailand. The centre is located at the Institute of Food Research and Product Development (IFRPD), Kasetsart University, Bangkok, Thailand.

We had a great time celebrating the momentous occasion with our valued customers, partners and guests. We were also honoured to have the event graced by His Excellency, Professor Dr. Anek Laothamatas, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand.

The attendees had the opportunity to learn about our research collaborations with the leading universities in Thailand and taste our flavours in mocktails, desserts, chocolate confections and plant-based sausages.

There are three main spaces in the CIC:

• Flavour Chemistry Laboratory for collaborative research on discovering, understanding, and developing local and new aromas.

• Flavour Creation Laboratory for the creation of novel flavours by our team of expert flavourists and technologists.

• Food & Beverage Application Laboratory for the testing of latest flavour creations and development of various go-to-market prototypes ranging from beverage, health and nutrition, sweet food to savoury products.

In conjunction with the centre's opening, KH Roberts signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with NSTDA's industry and partnership arm, Food Innopolis – Flavour Academy. This officiates the mutual collaboration between both parties on flavour and product development research with organisations in Thailand, and the nurturing of talents in Thailand's flavour industry.

The opening of CIC is a great milestone as it advances and elevates our R&D capabilities and facilities, providing a dedicated platform for research, creation and innovation. It allows for closer cross-collaboration with our customers and richer engagement with our academic partners in Thailand, supporting them in their product development and research work respectively.

Once again, thank you to all our guests who joined us in the celebration and we hope to continue to forge stronger partnerships and chart the future of flavours with all our customers and partners.
