KH Roberts’ Continuous Digitalisation Journey
Our first digitalisation efforts begun when we realised that we could no longer rely on physical measures to manage our data. Ten years ago, we started from digitising our formulations and documents to safekeep our properties. As our global expansion accelerated, we needed a bigger space to make room for automation in our processes. In 2017, we moved to a greenfield site in Buroh Lane, especially designed for automation and digitalisation.
Today, we are reaping the benefits of our digital transformation efforts. Despite the resistance of our people to these changes in the earlier stages, our people have learned to appreciate our digital and automated systems today. Especially during the COVID-19 period, it has provided production efficiency and allowed our employees to access proprietary information through secure remote access.
Our digital transformation is a continuous journey. It is part of our commitment to driving excellence in our processes and innovations, and delivering world-class reliability and consistency in aromas and tastes. This is the reason we place relentless emphasis on digitalisation and training of our people. With shifts in consumer trends and demands, KH Roberts has been able to respond and partner consumer brands to deliver market leading products.
